Sherria Dickerson, LMFT

Meet Sherria

I am Sherria Dickerson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Live Out Loud Purposely. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020 — the same year I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I continued caring for my clients throughout my treatment, and that season taught me, firsthand, what resilience really asks of us: focus, steadfastness, and the strength that comes from God and a support system that refuses to let you walk alone.
That understanding shapes how I show up for the people I work with. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and that healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, with the people we love, and with a therapist who meets us without judgment. My role is to walk alongside you, offering evidence-based tools and a steady, compassionate presence as you reclaim your voice and redefine your journey.
I’ve practiced across private practice, community mental health, and residential treatment care, including serving as Clinical Director of a CARF-accredited residential program. Whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship strain, a hard life transition, or the long work of recovery, you don’t have to do it alone.
